My name is Brooklyn Deck and I am an aggressive forward playing in Alberta Canada for the Rocky Mountain Raiders U 15 AA team in the AFHL and the Spring 2007 WestCan Team. I am an offensive minded forward and have worked extremely hard on my puck skills over the last season with much improvement anticipating opportunity in the offensive zone. I have great puck possession skills always looking to make the right play, as well as a great shot that is second to very few others. I have a strong work ethic and strive to improve regardless of the season. I attend regimented skills and dryland training camps in the off season working with high level trainers and coaches in my area to continuously improve my skills and athletics. In my last full U 13 season I played with boys in the highest league in the province and finished second in scoring on my team.
My love of the game comes from my Dad whom played 5 years of Major Junior Hockey in Canada in the WHL (Western Hockey League) playing for the Kamloops Blazers, Portland Winterhawks and the Moose Jaw Warriors.
Scholastically I have received honors of distinction in Grade 7 and Grade 8 which identifies students that have a 90% plus grade in 4 or more of their core subjects.
