In all videos I am #16 green, only one with a ponytail on the ice.
I have played hockey all my life and love the sport. I have played both co-ed and girls hockey, but as of the last two years I have played co-ed hockey. I made the switch for less travel in my high school year and for a faster paced game. Last year I made my hometown A team and play "boys"tier one (A boys Canadian) hockey; I was the only female in the league. This year I also made the A team and we play tier one (A boys Canadian) mixed with tier two hockey; once again I am the only female in the league. I hope to go as far as I possibly can in my hockey career in terms of high level hockey.
I have edge over other athletes as I have played many sports, for example soccer, basketball, rugby, and badminton. These sports help me gain skill for hockey that you don't usually gain from hockey practices. For example, soccer has taught me good foot eye coordination, and I use this to my advantage on ice as seen in video 2. I have also played centre and wing for about a year each, so I have good understand of how important each position is and am knowledgeable in strategic play.
I am willing to work hard and alway looking for feedback on how to improve my game to its highest potential.
Update: I have more new videos taken in better quality, though I haven't put in the red circles yet. Please email me if you wish to see them.
