Devyn Amundson '23 Recruiting Profile

Hockey is my passion and I always want it to be a part of my life.  My goal is to play hockey at a post-secondary level and beyond.  At some point I hope to be involved on the other side of the bench as well and pass the love of the game and the goaltending position onto other girls.  I am driven both on and off the ice to be the best athlete and person I can be.  I have always been told that I am very coachable and have always been willing to put in the extra hours to improve my game.  I am a country girl and respect hard work and dedication.  I give my all to everything I commit to and don't believe in doing something if I can't give 100% to it.  I have been part of my team's leadership committee for the past 2 seasons and take very seriously my role as a leader on any team I am a part of.

I also take my role as a student very seriously and have been able to manage the demands of a busy hockey schedule with full-time schooling.  I would like to study Criminology/Criminal Justice and may consider pursuing a law degree at some point as well.  I believe that being a part of a hockey academy has well-prepared me for collegiate hockey and has developed in me the self-discipline required to be successful in all facets of my life.
