I have been playing Hockey since I was 6. Second year Peewee I played as a 12 year old on the Edge U16 Team playing in the JWHL. The past year I was still eligible to play Bantam Elite hockey, however I was fortunate to earn a spot with the Edge Mountaineers Midget Girls Prep Team. Next season I will be playing for the Midget AAA Rocky Mountain Raiders and am excited to continue to work hard and learn.
For the past 3 summers, I have committed to push myself on a daily basis to get better. I have been working out with a trainer 2-4 times a week to improve my speed, strength and quickness. I have also been, going on the ice 5 days a week, improving my hockey skills and speed. I also continue to practice shooting pucks and stickhandling everyday.
When playing hockey, I am described as an intelligent player that reads and reacts very effectively to the play. I have a good quick release shot and have good hands. I am also a good skater, both forwards and backwards.
