Hello Coaches and recruiters, my name is Leila Schultz and I am a forward playing at Okanagan Hockey Academy Female Prep as a 2024 grad. Ever since I was little the game of hockey has been what I wanted to do most, and what I wanted to pursue the furthest. I have always had so much love and passion for the game and that is why I want to take my game to the next level, wherever that may be. I strongly believe that everyone who plays any sport at the college or university level is always willing to work their hardest for their teammates and be a role model for those below them, as I know that I look up to so many people playing the game at that level. I strongly believe that I have the characteristics that make up an elite athlete and that contribute to the way I am as a player. I am constantly working hard for my teammates and will do whatever it takes to make myself and the others around me better. I am a very loud and vocal leader for my team as well as a quick and agile skater. Athletics isn't the only thing I want to focus on at the next level, I am also very dedicated to my academics and currently am maintaining a 91% average which is a 3.7 GPA. For all of these reasons, I believe that I would be an amazing fit for any roster at the next level.
