Rachel Loewen '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches.  Thanks for your interest in me.

I'm a 2023 Defence.  As a strong team mate with the Northern Capitals for the last two seasons in the BCEHL FMAAA (heading into my third and final season), I am also self motivated to achieve career and athletic goals.  If you are looking for a strong defender who is unafraid to block shots, hold strong on the boards and support our goalie, please consider me for your team.  In addition to gaining a strong player, you would also be gaining a player who is interested in paying it forward by helping younger females start the sport of hockey.  I've assisted with several Esso Fun Days as an on-ice mentor and recently have donated time at Total Ice Strength and Conditioning to the all female camps.

My lifelong goal has been to continue my passion of playing hockey while also getting my nursing degree.   Having billetted for the last 2 seasons I am not afraid to make a move to another city to achieve this goal.
