I am a 5'9 forward from California and will graduate in the 2022 class. I have 4 years of experience with travel hockey. Although I may not be a top scorer on my team, I bring many other attributes. For example, I am great at applying pressure, and forechecking. I am big, strong, and quick to the puck. I will apply pressure on the defense in the corners. I also decided to do crew, as a side sport for conditioning.
I have no preference to whether a college has an urban, suburban, or rural setting. I look forward to the fact that I will have to relocate in order to play on a collegiate women's hockey team. Being able to play on a high level women's team is a dream of mine. I currently play on a JV team in the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League in Southern California. Girls typically do not play on the varsity teams, it can get too physical. I am the only girl on my high school hockey team. While I enjoy my team immensely, it can sometimes feel a little isolating too. I am looking forward to playing on a close team full of comradery.
