My name is Alysa Reddecliff. I have played hockey for 7 years as a forward and defense . My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be pushed past my limits and see how far I can go, on and off the ice. I want to continue to be a good teammate and to be the best leader I can be. I plan to attend college and major in Animal Science.
When it comes to hockey, I feel I am a good candidate for the team because I am always giving 100% effort. I am also a leader, and enjoy being challenged and competitive. I give 100% effort off and on the ice, regardless of the task at hand. I even go the extra mile in practice, games, off ice, school and generally, in life. I truly enjoy building strong connections with all my peers, coaches, and teachers. I have a tremendous spirit and bring positive energy in all that I do. I love when my teammates are self confident, try their best, and build long lasting relationships.
This school year was definitely different, but I tried my best to continue what I do. I strived to improve and was outside most days shooting, doing sprints, and stick handling. I played for 3 teams (19U AA Girls, HS Varsity, and HS Junior Varsity). I also decided to volunteer at a special needs stable which really helped me see other peoples perspectives to certain obstacles.
