My goals for the future are to obtain a college degree that will prepare me for a career in the medical field while playing competitive college hockey. I hope to be viewed as a valuable recruit based on my dedication and drive to improve my skills to reach my goals of playing at the collegiate level. I currently play for a national-bound club team that allows me to hone my skills both in practice and competing against top competition. I have gained valuable experience playing for this club especially being on the power plays and power kills. I also continue my push while participating on my varsity high school hockey team. I strive at improving my defensive skills against all different levels but also ensure to dedicate time to off-ice training, using the weight room and speed training techniques. Lastly, I am currently a three-sport varsity athlete that also participates in elective clubs at my current high school. I have learned valuable organizational skills that allow me to obtain high grades while participating in multiple activities. I hope to achieve acceptance into the right school academically but one that will allow me to represent the school athletically and contribute to the team’s program and success.
