Addison Hamilton '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Addison Hamilton. I hope to be able to pursue and excel in both athletics and academics in college. I have successfully balanced hockey with two other sports (Golf and Lacrosse), while maintaining strong grades in the highest classes that are available to me. Additionally, I am actively participating in student council, and a variety of clubs and interests groups, which demonstrates my demonstrates my commitment, leadership, and time management traits.

What sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to manage multiple extracurricular and athletic commitments, while managing my academics. Balancing three sports with academics and extracurriculars has taught me to prioritize my work and to stay discipline. It has made me work more efficiently and strengthened my problem solving skills. I constantly have to find creative solutions to time constraints, conflicting schedules, and any other challenges that may come my way. For example, when I have tournaments or games that overlap with major assignments or tests, I have strategies to stay ahead in my work and srudies, while staying completely committed to my athletic responsibilities. Lastly, I’ve developed the ability to adapt to last minute changes, such as shifting practice times or unexpected academic work. Whether it’s adjusting my work to align with my travel schedule or managing injury recovery, I always remain flexible and focused so that I stay on track with my athletic, academic, and other extracurricular commitments.

I am confident that my abilities and skills as mentioned, would make me a valuable addition to your team. My strong work ethic would allow me to thrive as a student-athlete at the collegiate level. I am excited at the hope for an opportunity to play and contribute beyond high school.
