I started playing hockey in Saskatchewan when I was 8 years old. I often spent the weekends watching my brother play and I fell in love with the game. I began my career playing girls hockey then I transitioned to boys hockey second year atom. I have played boys since then - playing both at the U14 AA and U16 AA levels.
When I was 10 years old we moved provinces and then 2 years later we moved countries to the United States. During these changes in my life hockey was the one area of my life that I could depend on. Over my hockey career I had many wonderful teammates and coaches and made many friends that I am still in contact with today. Hockey has brought me a lot of happiness and continues teach me many life skills.
I am a multi-sport athlete that is very coachable and hardworking. I give 110 percent in all areas of my life. My goal is to continue my hockey career in university. I would like to play at the highest level possible in an environment that allows me to grow as an athlete, a student and a person.
