I've been playing hockey for 8 years. I am currently starting my 1st season at Chicago Young Americans AAA Hockey Club, I played 3 seasons at Team Illinois. My goal in my hockey career is to play college hockey and go to the Olympics and play for team USA. When I first got interested in hockey was 8 years ago, when I was 6 years old. I had a friend who was playing house league and I would go to her games and watch. Then one day when there was a mini-evaluation, I was lucky enough to be on the same team with my friend. From that point on, I knew that I loved the sport and wanted to play it for the rest of my life.
Getting to where I am now wasn't easy. It took a lot of missed hangouts and birthday parties with my friends. One of thing that I learned, from missing all of those things is hard work pays off, not only in sports but in school and life. Currently, I am a freshman attending New Trier High School. My hobbies include drawing, painting, making crafts, playing hockey (of course) and being with my friends. When I am older, I want to be a graphic designer, but I would also enjoy studying science and research.
