My collegiate goals are to attend a school of biology premed that also has a NCAA women's hockey program. My primary position is center on my travel teams. However, I am a utility player that can switch from offense to defense at any point in the game. Leading me to play defense when needed. I am confident that who ever I am lucky enough to play for I will make a big positive impact on the teams success. My fast skating, battling in the corners and in front of the net are my biggest attributes to the game. I produce and work hard every shift to help my team get the best scoring opportunities possible. Traveling out of state is my only option for a high end hockey program since where I live there are no girl programs. I travel a total of 8 hours plus 2 hours each practice day and up to 6 plus hours travel time per game day each week. We practice at least twice a week and have games one to three times a week. I attend high school with a regular honors schedule then immediately leave for practice in Michigan. I complete my homework in the car and during down time. With all of these obstacles I am able to keep good grades, and compete every weekend at tournaments and games with my team. I also participate on the Indiana girls all star team known as Team Indiana U19. I am one of only 5 sophomores in the state allowed to be on the team. I travel as much as 3 hours to Indianapolis for practice and scrimmages in preparation for showcases. On Team Indiana I am a starting center. I am also slated to play defense if needed.
