Personal Statement
Playing hockey over the years has taught me so much. It has taught me about the importance of work ethic, resiliency, and determination. I currently play for a club team in Bietigheim-Bissingen Germany and for the Germany Selects National Team. Playing for these teams has taught me about resiliency seeing as I am the only foreigner on another Nation’s national team. Hockey has been a huge influence on my life and has shown me where commitment can get me. It has been my goal for as long as I can remember to have a career in hockey and medicine. To have this I work hard on the ice at practices, at school in the classrooms, and on my free time. I find it incredibly important to continue improving my character and positivity on and off the ice. My ultimate goal is to see where my commitment to hockey can get me by finding a collegiate program that meets my hockey and academics needs. I am thrilled to see where hockey can take me in life and to find out what kind of a impact I can have on any team.
