Personal Statement

Hi Coaches,

I am currently a goalie playing Tier 1 hockey for the Little Caesars U16 girls hockey program. My ultimate dream is to continue playing hockey at the college or university level while pursuing a degree in a sports-related field.

Hockey has been an important part of my life since I was 4 years old. I was drawn to the goalie position at an early age and I’ve never looked back. Being a goalie has allowed me to thrive in high-pressure situations, know that I can make a significant impact for my team. I love constantly learning and training to be the best I can be, utilizing the skills I have acquired to overcome physical and psychological challenges in game situations. It’s a passion that has brought me to this point and I am eager to carry this commitment into my collegiate experience.
