I have been playing hockey since I was 5 years old. I have always wanted to play at the collegiate level. I enjoy playing at the most competitive level possible and push myself to improve continuously throughout the season. My coaches throughout my life have commented on my positive attitude and sportsmanship, I am a cheerful and positive teammate. I worked my way from playing on the third line to being the starting center by the second half of my 16 U season; our team came back from a losing record to win the MAHA State Championship in 2020. I am also a hard worker in school and have consistently carried at 4.0 grade point average through middle and high school. I have not yet decided on my career path but I am interested in STEM fields and have joined my school's health and medicine magnet to further my education in this field. I enjoy music (violin in orchestra) and art and spending time with my 3 siblings and friends. I hope to be considered for a competitive team at a school where I can pursue academic excellence, and a healthy athletic and academic balance is important to me.
