I’ve been playing hockey for 19 years and am a versatile player by playing center, wing, and defense. Because of my versatility, I am able to see and read the game in many different ways. I bring the talent, skill, drive, and experience that high caliber college players bring. I played my last amateur years on the Westland Mustangs 19u AA girls team and now play for a women’s senior travel team in Michigan. I was chosen 3 years in a row to play for the Meijer State Games of Michigan. This is an Olympic style tournament for the best hockey players in Michigan to form regional teams and play against each other for the gold. On the south regional team I was a runner up and 2 time champion. Some examples of my traits and accomplishments are how I have always worked extremely hard to be the fastest skater by weight lifting and training hard on and off the ice. By doing so, I have maxed out the skating treadmill at a Puck Masters. I am very driven and have always tried to lead by example, allowing me the honor to be chosen as a captain for my travel AA girls hockey team. I originally decided not to play in college and go to a community college instead and transfer to a 4-year later to save money for medical school. At the time I started college (in 2016), there wasn’t a great opportunity for supporting myself financially and continuing my hockey career professionally after college. I made the hard decision to focus on a career that I knew would for sure be there in years to come and be able to pay the bills. I am now at a four year university that doesn’t have women’s college hockey. Although now I truly regret not playing college hockey to perfect skills and have a great experience. After college my goal is to play professionally and eventually later on coach to give back to a community that has given me so much. So, I have worked hard everyday since deciding to play college hockey this way I am ready to play my last year of college at a high level. I look forward to speaking with you about the possibility of playing for you and your team. I hope I can be a great fit!
