I started playing hockey when I was 2 and ever since then it has been my dream to play hockey at the collegiate level. Every practice and at every game I give it my all to try and better myself and be better for my teammates. Training plays a huge part in my process in becoming a better hockey player. While at school I take basketball theory and we are in the weight room 2-3 times a week and do conditioning the other 2-3. My hockey team also has a work out that we do daily to get and keep us in shape. I take my academics very seriously. I took honors geometry as a freshman and i’m not taking algebra 2 as a sophomore. I am also taking AP US Government. being a student athlete means you ha e to balance your school work and practice and I feel I do that pretty well. I am also multi sport athlete. I play travel softball, and school volleyball, basketball. I believe this helps me with hockey because it gives me extra training and conditioning as well as helps me with my footwork and speed.
