Erica Didocha '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Erica and I am senior ('24) at Troy, High School in Troy Michigan. I am involved in the Theater Ensemble where I work on set, stage and fly crews for our plays and musicals. I am a 4 year member of the Choir and 2 year member of the a-cappella group. I also participate in Student to Student, a group that provides peer mentors to special needs students. I began playing hockey at 5 years old and became a goalie full time at age 11. The rink is my happy place. I moved to Belle Tire my first year of 14U and his is my 5th season with organization. I played 1 year of 14U, then played up on 16U for 2 season before once again playing up at 19U. In addition to my team commitments I train with my goalie coach, take a weight training class and act as a student coach for the Belle Tire girls 10U team.  It is my goal to continue to play hockey in college. I feel that my work ethic, skill, perseverance, positive attitude and leadership would be an asset to any team. My outside interests will also be of value to the campus community that I end up calling home. It is my goal to continue to work in the field of athletics upon graduation form college and hope to continue to grow the game for future female hockey players.
