I have aspirations to attend college and earn a degree in Psychology or Nursing. I am also working hard to further my hockey career to allow me to play Division 1 Women's hockey. My greatest strengths are tenacity, speed, being a team player and the ability to make good decisions and passes. I am extremely competitive and dedicated. In 2019, I recently completed my sophomore year of Varsity hockey with Brainerd High School. The majority of my hockey career I have played defense, but during my 8th grade year I made Varsity and played Center, my 9th grade year I played defense and this past season (my 10th grade year) I played both defense and center. Our high school team won our section and advanced to state in AA division, taking 2nd place. Being able to participate in the State Tournament, scoring two goals and an assist, were highlights of my hockey career. Another highlight was being picked last fall (2018) to participate in the Upper Midwest Elite League, playing for the Northern Elite Team and taking 1st place. I have been honored to be picked to participate in the Upper Midwest Elite League again for the 2019 season and have been chosen Elite League team captain. I also play LaCrosse for Brainerd High School where I have played Varsity since the 8th grade, was nominated for an Academic All State Award and was voted Captain for the 2020 season.
I have participated in USA Hockey Development Programs. In 2017 and 2018 I participated in the U14 and U15 CCM High Performance Minnesota Camp, Festivals and Tier 1 Leagues. In 2019, I made it to Phase 3 of the CCM High Performance Final 54 Festival.
In 2019, I will continue training throughout the spring, summer and fall with the OS Junior Whitecaps (JWC). The JWC will include training with the JWC white, OS Spring League (Royal Blue Elite team), OS Prospects Camps. In the fall (2019) I will participate on the U16 Upper Midwest Elite League on the Northern team, and will participate in the NAHA tournament in Vermont with the U19 Northern Starzz team.
I currently have a 4.0 GPA and in the fall of my 10th grade year received a Fall Student of the Semester award for Hard work, Perseverance, Respectfulness, Academic Success and Kindness. I received the Eric Eid hockey award from Brainerd for positive attitude, and good sportsmanship.
