I have only been in the sport of hockey for almost 5 years and I have to work even harder to get where most people are at. During this time I have shown a great potential and I earned a few awards. That demonstrates my determination and persistence. Not only in hockey, lacrosse and softball but also in my academic grades. My priority is my education and how it leads to my future career. I want to pursue an engineering degree. I want to encourage everyone to play hockey or any sport even if they start late like I did. People should not have any doubts or fear in starting something new because you never know if that becomes your great passion.
