Kia Jacobson '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kia. I am currently a senior at Redwood Valley High School. I have been playing hockey since I was 8 and have been a goalie since I was 12. My first year playing as a goalie I was on the boys Bantam B team and was a year or two younger then the other players. We proceeded to be the District 4 champions with an 8-2 record. My freshman year, I tried out for and made the boys varsity team but didn't see any ice time until my sophomore year and even more so my junior year. Last season, I had 2 shutouts and was awarded playoff MVP. All throughout middle school and high school I have been on the honor roll and currently have a 3.37 GPA. I would love to see how far I can take my hockey career beyond high school. My biggest dream is to represent the USA playing the sport I love most.
