I have a lot of passion and heart for the game. I am told to play somewhere and I get the job done. I can play forward or defense, I don't mind either of them just as long as I get to play with my team and have fun.
I have played with many other girls over the years. I started playing on Select teams at age 10. I was chosen to represent the northern tier of MN multiple times per year for the past 7 years. Super Series, Elites, Midwest Selects, Gopherfest, etc. I also played on several spring/summer teams. I participated in MN Hockey Advance programs. I made it to the Mankato training camp my first year. The second year I made the cut to the final 54. I participated in the MN Gopher training camp coached by Brad Frost in the summer of 2013. That was a great experience! I enjoy meeting other players and playing together. Then I end up playing against them in other events or the regular season and it makes if more fun.
I really want to play college hockey. I don't want my hockey career to be done after high school. I work hard and I know the game well; I can see the ice and set up plays. I am very strong and have an athletic build. I still keep my grades up while having long practices and a busy schedule. I also have a part time job as a certified nursing assistant at the local nursing home so I have gas and spending money.
