I like to stay busy. I always have a sports practice to get to, and I enjoy putting in that much work. Without a purpose, I feel lost. College is a big step in finding my ultimate purpose in life. All of the teams that I play on have given me different aspects of who I am as a hockey player. Lacrosse teaches me that stick skills and ball/puck control are very important. Volleyball teaches me that even if you think the play is over, it doesn’t have to be. Every team, from every sport I have ever played, has taught me something special. Not just about my hockey skills, but also about my team skills. I want to find a team that I can continue to learn from. Hockey is my main sport, but I would not be against playing Lacrosse in college as well. Volleyball is my extra sport. I like to play, but I really do it to keep my strength up on the off season.
Sports is not the only thing that is important to me. My future in college, and after, means just as much. I don’t know what I will do in college or as a career, but I want to do something important. Something that will really make a difference. I am hoping to continue to grow and become the best person I can be. I want to find a team that will complement my goals for life. Finding a job that will contribute greatly to society is something that I take very seriously. I have been considering Military, and I may try ROTC if I end up playing college hockey. I am still trying to figure out exactly what field I will be in, but I am dedicated to finding the brightest future possible.
