One of my main goals when I graduate from high school is to already have a plan for where I will be going and what I will be doing. I have never imagined myself NOT playing hockey for the college I go to; so playing ice hockey is an important aspect of my life. Hockey is part of my college plan along with academic goals. For instance, I would like to go to a University or College prepared and ready to begin my journey through the school system. I aspire to graduate with honors.
I am different from other players in that I have more experience with every kind of person. I have moved five times to five different states in my seventeen years of age, meaning I have played with people from the Midwest, East and West Coast, and the South. I am able to adapt and become a team player for whoever I play for. Through my cycling of teams I have also learns the basic skills and many tips from different people. I have played ice hockey since I was three and have shifted through volleyball and soccer; however, hockey has always been my main priority. During off season I go to the ice rink with my friends and play pickup and run drills together. Last summer I spent most of my time on the ice power skating to build my stamina. Overall, I am an experienced player with the basic love for hockey and high hopes for my time at your school.
