Grace Inoue '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a fast, agile, shifty and quick forward with excellent hands, scoring and skating ability.  I love making plays and scoring but also place high value on being defensively responsible and battling for possession.  I usually play right wing and center.

I have been a consistent top performer on every team I have played on and know what it feels like to win and play at the tier 1 level, including Novice, Atom AA, PeeWee AA, and Bantam AA, and U16/U19/Prep.   I was asked to join Team Japan U16 and went to US Nationals Tier 1 U16 in 2021 and regionals in 2022.  I have won provincials, achieved a bronze at provincials, and have only missed provincials once.  As well, I have won countless elite spring tournaments and attended many invitational showcases.   Since 2016, I have been with Legacy Selects, playing various tournaments, and Premier Ice Prospects.

My student-athlete path has taken me from starting with the boys at age 4 to top level girls in Ottawa, Canada and then moving in 2021 to attend Prep school (Gilmour, Brewster/U19) and play hockey in the US and obtain top level academics and training. I firmly believe this path has given me the tools and the experience it takes to realize my dream of being a college level student athlete, dealing with the demands of being organized and performing at a high level in both sports and academics.    I offer loyalty, poise, diplomacy, humour and dedication to my team and studies; being a part of something bigger (my hockey team) is very important to me.
