Hello, I'm Emily Fuchs. I will graduate in 2025 after completing 4 years as a HS Varsity Goaltender for Williston High School in Williston, North Dakota. I've played hockey for 12 years, 9 of those years have been in net. Through my experiences in hockey I have learned to value patience, accountability, confidence, and time management. I strive to apply these lessons in my day to day life both on ice and off ice. While not in season, I spend my time doing off ice conditioning, playing with my 3 dogs, and 2 cats, reading, playing video games, and spending time shooting and roller skating with my team. I also have a summer job working part time. Throughout the summer, I attend several training camps and travel to my goalie coach to get on ice work in, as well as mental training and film review. During season, I help with Girls Try Hockey for Free and assist with mite level practice. I am involved with fundraising events; Meet the Coyotes, Motocross Track Flagger, and the Legends Banquet.
I take pride in my abilities to be coachable, have a strong work ethic, and determination to be the best I can be at Goaltending. I love completing as a high level Goaltender, facing each puck as the challenge it presents, the demand of the mental presence, the elation of each save, and the fulfillment of having my team mates back. Being a goaltender I've learned to work under pressure and handle the stress through my mental training and experience gained over the years. I am excited to explore and find my next opportunity as a Collegiate Goaltender to continue my hockey journey while studying Biology with a Veterinary career as my end goal.
