I was born in Canada and do have my duel citizenship for USA due to my father. As a student I take great pride in my education. I believe that being an athlete has contributed to me being a more well rounded person and student as working on both physical and mental aspects of my life are shaping me into the person and player that I am today. Just like my schooling, I take my athletics very seriously by making sure I am always present and alert during training, game time and in the dressing room. I think that by giving hockey training my full attention while i‘m on the ice it can help me progress in my skill development as well as brain development by giving my schooling a break for the time where I work on my on ice skills. As a hard working and aggressive goaltender, I take great pride in my work on the ice. Always working on ways to improve, following every puck and finishing every battle that there is helps me improve my game every day and push to become an all around higher achieving player. On and off of the ice I always ensure to be present for my team as connections and communication is a huge part of hockey. Being a welcoming presence, always starting conversation as well as giving positive but constructive feedback to teammates is how I feel I connect to my teammates and help build connections Both on and off the ice.
