Hi, my name is Hannah Garrett-Howard, a 2024 goalie whose goal is to play NCAA Hockey and get a great education. I am a multi-sport athlete (hockey & soccer) whose main passion now is playing hockey goalie. I have played soccer goalie for many years and eventually switched to ice hockey goalie as it has many of the same hand-eye movements and coordination.
I started skating when I was four years old and eventually played travel hockey starting around age ten. Over the years my love for hockey has risen and my drive to become more successful has also risen. I essentially left home at age 16 to pursue a Tier I (AAA) team at an international hockey academy in Ontario, Canada. I made the jump from a AA team in my hometown of Missoula, Montnaa to AAA.
I am a hardworking, highly driven, coachable, and caring student athlete who knows how to successfully balance academics and sports. I have always maintained a high GPA all throughout high school and been dedicated to my education as I know it will be what ultimately carries me through life. I am looking to surround myself with like minded people in college who push each other to be the best they can be while also being there to support them in any way needed. I have been laser focused to live out my goal of playing collegiate hockey.
