I started playing hockey when I was 3 years old, and I have not looked back since. Hockey has always been a great passion of mine, and it is my goal and aspiration to play hockey at the collegiate level. I am a two-way player who believes the game is played throughout the 200ft of the rink. I always give my absolute best effort no matter what and strive to constantly improve my game in all aspects. This drive to improve my game is what pushes me hard both on and off the ice. I am a team player and will do whatever it takes to help my team win. I understand the importance of being coachable and because of this I make a point to always show up to every practice or game with the mindset of it being a chance to improve, and being open to learn from my mistakes. I am a strong believer that practices are just as important, if not more important than games. I am always willing to put the hard work in at practice, not to cut any corners, in order to achieve the most improvement possible for both myself and the team. This mindset has not only allowed me to be the best hockey player I can be but has also given me success in my academics and athletics at school, allowing me to receive athletic awards such as Junior Female Athlete of the Year in 2018, and being on the honor roll since grade 7. I strive for excellence in all aspects of my life.
