My name is Mélina Cane and my main goal is to play college/ university hockey in Canada or in the United States. I would like to study Physiotherapy/ Exercise science. I have been playing hockey since I was six years old and I demonstrate passion in my play. My teachers describe me as a great student who is reliable and as someone who gets all their work done efficiently and on time. I am someone who is vey energetic and is a great team leader. I am an offensive player who has great hands and excellent hockey sense. Coaches describe me as hardworking, coachable, and a player that continuously strives to get better. Even with the current lockdown in my area, I have kept training and skating on my outdoor rink. I have improved my deceptive play (fake shots, no look passes, etc.), my saucer passes (forehand and backhand), my hand-eye coordination (tipping pucks and intercepting saucer passes), as well as having developed numerous new shootout moves. I'm looking for a school that can offer a program in my field of study and that also has a competitive hockey team.
