2026/27 High School Grad. Elite Goalie, Teammate, and Student Looking for the Right Fit at a Division 1 Women's Hockey College Program
I fell in love with hockey the first time i hit the ice with my House League team as a 5 year old. I had tried figure skating but I'm super competitive and begged my parents to play hockey. I pride myself on being a great teammate and I'm proud that as a Goalie I was selected as an Alternate Captain on my Bantam AA team and am a leader on my U18AA team this season. One of the things that differentiates me as a Goalie is that I played forward my first 3 years and was a top scorer on my teams. I believe my skating ability comes from that and I am able to anticipate shooters well.
I am an extremely hard worker and even though coaches and players tell me that I'm a natural athlete (I was 100mm champion at my school), I take nothing for granted and am always trying to improve by grinding every day, both on and off the ice. I had a knee sprain last year but rehabbed hard and came back 100% to show what I can do for my team and finished last season very strong. Overall in my first U18AA season I had a 0.89 GAA and played an integral part in winning the 2 Nations Cup tournament. This summer I just finished the Queen of the Rings tournament allowing 1 goal in 6 games (while largely being outshot) and winning the final 2-1 in a shootout vs. the Jr. Hyperfit Elite team. My younger sister Amanda (RHD) is also on the team and scored the game winning shootout goal. https://www.ncsasports.org/womens-ice-hockey-recruiting/ontario/thornhill/everest-academy/amanda-hodgins
I also recently filled in for Kristen Campbell, who also trains with TPG, for the PWHL Toronto practices!
My older sister Catherine plays D1 at Lindenwood University and that is my goal as well. I hold Dual Citizenship so I would also hope one day to represent either Canada or the USA internationally. For the 24-25 Season I play for the Mississauga Hurricanes U18 AA and I believe we are going to have a great season! Go Canes!
I currently attend Everest Academy where I am 1st in my class with a 95% average! At Everest, I also train both on and off the ice 4 times per week with and against some of the best male and female Jr. players in Canada. This training including professional Goalie training from the Franco-Canadian Goalie Academy. I also train on ice with TPG and Mandy Cronin. Everest also has a regimented off ice physical training program including lots of time in the weight room and Vision training. I am also proud of the fact that I won Female Athlete of the Year at Everest in 2021-2022 and the Triple A Award (Academics Athletics and Attitude) 2023-2024.
I will be playing Jr. in the GTA for the next 2 seasons, but my main goal is to play both D1 College hockey and eventually Professionally while also pursuing an Engineering degree.
As I enter my Junior year of High School, I am looking forward to preparing to speak with College coaches about their future Goalie plans and I am committed to be an outstanding representative of my school and hockey program on and off the ice.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I look forward to speaking with you in the future.
