Winning the 2017/18 Little Caesars championship with a shutout was by far a career high for me. We were a new team, and it took a few hard losses to learn and grow into the team in that final game. I feel that my work on and off the ice has really helped me improve my abilities and has turned some of my weaknesses into strengths while keeping me focused on my main goal, to play in the collegiate level. My coaches throughout the years have influenced me and my attitude toward hard work and dedication, as well as giving me the ability to push forward and continue to compete at my highest level at all times. I aim to further my education at a college that will meet my needs athletically, as well as academically.
I believe with my work ethic and dedication, I am fully capable of playing and competing at the collegiate level and making a positive impact on your team. Coming up to my 9th year of hockey, I have learned that I can do anything I put my mind to with hard work, and I have learned how to strive to be better in all levels of my game. I have also learned what it means to work and play as a team, and how to communicate with my teammates on and off the ice.
