Reece Coleman '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Reece Coleman and my collegiate objectives are to study in the medical field and play the highest level of hockey suitable for me, where I can keep learning and pushing myself to never settle with average. I am a very determined athlete who dedicates time on and off the ice, whether its in the gym or stick handling and shooting at home. I always ask questions about how I can improve my game and spend time searching the web for new training activities and game play situations to develop my hockey IQ. I form great bonds with my coaches and teammates and always encourage my team with a positive, determined mindset. When I am not training, I am committed to my academics where I stay very organized and always put out my best work. What makes me different from other recruits in character is that I am selfless and have good sportsmanship. I am always respectful towards my teammates, coaches, referees and opponents no matter the situation. I am a very competitive athlete and find strength in my competition. I push myself to my limits and set goals for myself each time I step on the ice. I am always looking to receive feedback from my coaches so I can implement it in the future and progress at a faster pace. Academically, I am a very organized student who never fails to miss deadlines. I engage in my learning and ask questions to insure success.
