My name is Meg Aiken and I am a 16 year old student-athlete who attends the Mount Academy. The Mount is a university preparatory school located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. I play on the Mount Academy U18 female team in the Junior Women's Hockey League (JWHL).
My goal is to play college hockey and I have been working hard to achieve that. I am a top student in all of my classes with a 95% average, and I strive to maintain a balance between athletics and academics in order to better position myself for college opportunities. Coaches have described me as a player who never gives up on a play and someone who always pressures hard. I feel my mental game is solid as I understand the concepts and game plan put forth by the coaching staff.
I also play soccer, which allows me to stay in shape and further develop my athleticism. I play in the U18 premier league on Prince Edward Island.
