My name is Kaylee Lewis, I am a hardworking, unselfish, determined and modest, teammate, graduating in 2022. I currently play for the Dallas Stars Elite. Last year I was put to the test, playing 19UT1 for Dallas Stars Elite. The play was faster, more technical and a little rougher. Even then I still excelled demonstrating to myself and my team that I can be a top line forward on a top 10 team as a 2004. Our season ended suddenly like everyone else and it was hard as I was national bound for club and high school hockey. I was really looking forward to playing at nationals as we had a really good chance competing against some of the best team in the country.
Playing for team USA has always been a passion of mine and last year I will be attending the USAH Women's development camp in St. Cloud. I really want to go again this year as thought I think I did well last year I didn't do what I know I was capable of. Sometimes when I am in a new environment I can be a bit reserved but I have learned from this and I am better prepared for the next time. I hope with the last season playing 19UT1, I demonstrated my abilities at the highest levels.
I enjoy math and science and at this time I'm exploring career options that fit my interest. I am looking to find a college to pursue my education while continuing to play hockey at a high level. I am a responsible student that achieves good grades, while being a competitive athlete. Like any athlete at my age we all have room to improve. I continuously work to improve myself on my own time. Sometimes it practicing my cello, my swim technique, fast feet, shooting or stick handling. Because of who I am, my loyalty, my work ethic, my competitiveness and my athleticism, I would represent my school with integrity and pride.
I hope you take the time to review my profile and follow me through my journey, I look forward to meeting you at the rink.
