I started playing lacrosse at age 5 and have played boys box, girls box and girls field continuously since.
I hope to attend an academically strong school so that I can use my lacrosse skills to get a medical education.
I’m a team player first and foremost that believes that we all go forward or nobody does.
Ceili Jobb Reference Letter
My name is Erik Turner, and I’m a professional lacrosse player in the NLL, an alum of Cornell Men’s Lacrosse, and Director for the Xavier Lacrosse Academy. I am writing this letter to express my support for Ceili Jobb in her pursuit of playing collegiate lacrosse at your program.
My introduction to Ceili came through her enrollment in our high school lacrosse academy. We are a skill based academy in Edmonton, Alberta and spend our afternoons practicing and training for lacrosse. Ceili is a strong student and is very skilled, athletic, and intelligent as a player. She has consistently displayed a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Additionally, she competes hard and is an outstanding teammateoften taking time to support and encourage other members of our academy. One of our instructors has nicknamed her “smiley” because she always has a smile on her face when we are out on the field. It is evident she has a love for the game and genuinely enjoys being out there.
She also understands how to keep focused and hold herself to a high standard on her performance. I have been incredibly impressed with her initiative and desire to improve. She has taken ownership over her development process by reaching out when she needs help with a skill she is taking time to work on outside of structured practice time. This dedication to her craft has propelled her into being one of the top lacrosse prospectswithin our program and province.
Her greatest strengths as a player is her ability to see the field, ball control, passing prowess, and offensive decision making. She understands how to find and create openings to generate offensive opportunities and is very capable of working both on and off ball. She is a very accurate shooter and is a threat in both her right and left hand. Athletically
I believe Ceili will be a great addition to whatever collegiate program she chooses to attend. Her academic and athletic ability combined with her quality of character set her up to be a great representative of your program and school. She is an excellent student, athlete, and teammate.
Ceili is an outstanding young woman, and is very deserving and capable of playing at the collegiate level. Please feel free to contact me if I can provide any more information. You may reach me at (780) 243-4187 or [email protected].

Erik Turner
