One of the most difficult things I ever had to do was spend nine months without being able to step on the field. Those nine months were spent recovering from an injury, but those months were not time wasted. It was difficult for me to not be active on the field, as I am energetic and usually an active person, but I was still involved with my team and my sport. I attended every practice to support my team, had the chance to see lacrosse from a different angle and see how I could improve myself. Staying dedicated to my sports while injured and unable to participate led me to many opportunities to better myself as a person and a player. I was able to use those opportunities to come back from my injury with a stronger body and a greater desire for success.
I have always been an ambitious person, I want to get things done. I strive to live by two statements my parents taught me: never give up, and never do something halfway. Most of my friends and teammates describe me as unique, along with responsible, determined, and reliable. I want to bring these traits to a team and school that is a good fit for me both on the field and in the classroom. I believe I would be a beneficial member to any team, not only because of my skill, but also because of my personality and work-ethic.
