UPDATE: I have reached my goal of getting recruited to play D1 lacrosse at LIU (Long Island University)!
My goal is to play for a Division I women's lacrosse team and study either athletic training, exercise science or kinesiology. My lacrosse accolades include: 2020 UA Highlight Team, 2020 WPLL Futures Team, 2019 US NTDP U-15 Combine, 2019 WDNT for Los Angeles (Iroquois Division Champs), 2019 UA Command Team, 2019 High School Los Angeles North Champions, 2019 Rookie of the Year PVHS, 2020 and 2019 PVHS Team Leader in Draw Wins, Player of the Game LA Semi-Finals Palos Verdes High School 2019, 6-time player of the game PVHS 2019, 2020, LA Aces 2022 Elite Team 2018-19 Season; named player of Debut Tournament by LA Aces.
I am a good candidate for a team because I love lacrosse and I work hard at practice, in games and at extra training. I am always working to get better and I work well with all of my teammates and support them.
I am different from other recruits because I am a good student and I have been a multi-sport athlete for years. I played club soccer for 7 yrs, Little League baseball for 8 years, some basketball, tennis and golf. I respect my coaches and teammates. I started my own volunteer organization called LaxSisters (www.laxsister.org) It is a volunteer club to help grow the game of girls lacrosse and also run clinics for wheelchair athletes. I also belong to the Toberman Neighborhood House Club -- we help feed underprivileged children and I am a volunteer coach for South Bay Lacrosse and have now earned a paying job as coach there. In addition, I volunteered at Harlem Lacrosse - a school-based program that helps at-risk kids with school, and forms/coaches lacrosse teams for them; Little Red School House - part of a summer preschool program for kids entering TK; and Beach Head Lacrosse - recreation lacrosse club.
