Kimberly Santamaria '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Kimberly Santamaria (Kimi), ever since I was little I've always been into fitness and sports. So, when I was 7 Years old I attended my first dance lesson. Little did I know that that one dance lesson on a 7 am Saturday morning would be the start of a 7 year long journey and a life time of determination.

I am now a retired pro trained dancer skilled in 7 years of Tap Dance, Jazz Dance, Hip Hop and Ballet. When I was 14 I decided to step down due to the cost of tuition and instead, tried out for the schools lacrosse team.

I've been playing lacrosse for a little over a year. My goal is to continue my education after HighSchool in the Kinesiology field and play in a division level lacrosse team.

I am a very hard working, student athlete with a passion for learning new things. I am on BCCHS Girls Lacrosse as Varsity and BCCHS Cross Country as Jv captain.

Last lacrosse season I was Jv captain playing Jv and Varsity games, back to back. I'm Graduating class of 2024 at Birmingham Community Charter High School in the San Fernando Valley. I am a starter varsity defender, occasionally playing midfield and attack as #22. I am the most competitive in my position. I recently founded Bham Girls Lacrosse Club as President in order to fund raise for team equipment and spirit wear.

I've coached a lacrosse clinic before, coaching 6-13 year olds. I am also an assistant Athletic Trainer, making me very comfortable with different types of athletes and able to care for others.

I am a first generation Mexican-American, making myself always trying to exceed above expectations to make it count.
