Estella Geffre '24 Recruiting Profile

Coaches call me a "natural athlete". I have been active my whole life. Whether hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, or trail running, I LOVE being outside. However, being in the gym playing basketball since I was five, I didn't discover lacrosse until my Freshman year (Spring 2021). I fell in love with the sport immediately. I play nearly all year long. I play club in the fall/winter and league in the spring. I moved to the varsity team my second year playing the sport, my Sophomore year (Spring 2022). I usually play defense but sometimes coaches move me to midfield because of my speed. Last season my team made it to the first round of playoffs and I started in that playoff game! I went on to win the "Unsung Hero" and 5A East All-League 2nd Team. This summer (2022) I was chosen to play with Team 91 Colorado, and in September I was selected to play on the Team 91 National team.  I'm excited to continue to build my skill base and have fun. I'd welcome the opportunity to play lacrosse in college, where I hope to major in Environmental Science with a focus on Research/Conservation or Search & Rescue.
