I have been playing lacrosse since I was 10 years old. Since the first time I held a stick I aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing at the collegiate level is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and could really change my whole life. I have strong stick-handling skills (comfortably use both my left and right hands), strong defense, mental toughness, and a high lacrosse IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while encouraging my teammates as well as myself to play to their fullest potential. I am very responsive and coachable and help out my teammates and coach when need be. I strive to be one of the hardest-working athletes and one of the hardest-working recruits you'll find. I work hard year-round on my lacrosse skills, practicing hours at home by myself but also with my coach. Participating in years of cross-country, basketball, and lifting in the weight room have all contributed to my athleticism. In the classroom, I strive to study hard and maintain a high GPA. Inducted into the National Honor Society, and I also volunteer at the local elementary school with tutoring kids. I want to attend a college where I can be pushed in both the classroom as well as the lacrosse field. I am open to all options and ultimately want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. In college, I want to major in Forensic Science or Criminal Justice, and I believe my rigorous high school course load has helped to prepare me for the challenge of balancing college academics and athletics in the future.
