Sophia Tsintsadze '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi My name is Sophia Tsintsadze. I am a 2022 defender from IMG Academy and Long Island Top Guns. Since I was little it has been my dream to have sports play a huge role in my life, which it has, and since I have begun playing lacrosse I have put in hours everyday of hard work to constantly better myself to achieve my absolute dream of playing lacrosse in college. On and off the field I am constantly energetic and full of laughter, bring happiness and energy onto the field to all the people surrounding me, while being able to lead and focus on exactly what I need to do and the best way to do it. I began playing my freshman year, but I have a 13 year background in figure skating which has taught me extensive and creative defensive footwork my entire life, and has also given me the speed and flow to speed across the field and catch up to any girl I need to without getting tired. I decided to attend IMG Academy to not only further these skills, but to also get used to the lifestyle of a college athlete and learn to organize myself like I will need to in college. In addition, playing here gives me the ability to train and improve everyday surrounded by many great athletes and coaches to constantly push myself. Thank you!
