I fell in love with lacrosse the second I stepped on the field my 8th grade year. I loved learning new plays, conditioning and developing myself to better my team. Unfortunately, the team didn't have the players needed to continue with a High School aged team and my High School didn't have a girls lacrosse team to join. As you get to know me, I don't give up easily! My family and I searched and searched and happened upon a club team in a neighboring county. We signed up and I've taken my skills to the next level. Joining RipCurl Girls World Lacrosse has given me the opportunity to enhance my skills and provided me the opportunity to compete at a higher level. I worked my way to their "A Team" and was invited to the President's Cup that same season. Myself, along with many others in my community, worked diligently to get a lacrosse team at our High School. In 2017-2018, my sophomore year, our school announced that our efforts had paid off. We had our first season this past spring. Our team was new, but we ended the season with a winning record. My lacrosse didn't stop after HS season, I teamed up again RipCurl during the summer, guest playing for multiple teams on our off weekends.
I aspire to get a degree in either Education or Occupational Therapy and I have a passion for community service. As busy as I am with lacrosse, I also find the time for school work, family, church and friends. I have a servants heart and I love helping others. I've been involved in several mission trips, working with children and sharing my faith. I would love to someday incorporate my passion for both my faith and lacrosse!
