I've been playing lacrosse sense 6th grade, and originally I was just curious, but it grew on me. I love the sport and it's made such an impact on me, I want to continue my journey in college.
I'm aggressive and not afraid to step out of the crease, but know that the net is my home base. I read the field well and communicate with and lead my defense on the field too. I am confident with the ball in my stick and with clears. I'm coachable and a hard worker. I know that there is always room for improvement and strive to get better with every practice. However, as a goalie it's important to keep your head up in certain situations and I pride myself on keeping a tough mental mindset and keep trying in those occasions.
Academics are very important to me. I take all honors, if not AP, classes and keep my grades up. I have always enjoyed math, science, and specifically physics. I have also been apart of band sense 5th grade and have competed many times.
Lacrosse as a sport and the community has gotten me through hard times, and I can't imagine leaving it behind in college. I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself academically in fields I love and play lacrosse in the highest competitive levels. I hope to inspire my younger teammates and make my family, and school family, proud.
