Sports, like soccer and lacrosse have been a big part of my life, they have helped me develop into the person I am today. I cant imagine my life not playing lacrosse, that is why my goal is to play in college. Although, when I tore my ACL and meniscus the summer of my freshman year in high school I was afraid I would never play lacrosse again. As my recovery went on and I realized how well it was going I knew I was capable of playing again. I worked extremely hard over the course of my year and a half recovery to get stronger and faster then I was before.
This injury made me realized how important lacrosse was to me and that it was more then just a hobby. I was determined to get back the year I lost and get better. I worked hard to get my skills and strength back and better then before. I believe this injury did not set me back, I believe it made me a better and the more deciplained player I am today. I know I always have to work hard. Therefore, I am very committed to the sport and I look forward to taking it to the next level in college .
