Lacrosse has impacted my life in ways I never thought it could. It made me grow as a player and person. At first it was just a sport that I loved to play but then it became a sense of lifestyle for me. However, that moment didn't happen to me until recently. Junior year was the highlight of my lacrosse history when I returned after taking a break from burning out doing the thing I love, playing lacrosse. It was the season I truly felt myself grow as both a student and an athlete.
I've been greatly fortunate to be apart of such a great team in Georgia that has been more of a family, to push to be where I am today. Although we've never won a region title or have gone to state championships, we don't let the defeats that have taken that away, take away the fight that I and the team have. Each year we have grown closer and closer and with that we get closer and closer to a region title. I've never pushed myself as a student-athlete like I have before. It made me learn to value leadership, commitment and teamwork all together.
I surmise that I am ready to compete at the next level because I feel I have what it takes to further my career as a student athlete like worth ethic, leadership and talent. I am looking for a team that is willing to assimilate to me academically and athletically. I feel I have what it takes to take it to the next level.
