When I began playing lacrosse in first grade, I definitely did not realize the impact that this sport would eventually have on my life. Now, as a junior in high school, I have truly begun to appreciate lacrosse and everything it has done for me. For this reason, I want to play at the next level: college.
As a freshman at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, I started each game on the defensive end, occasionally moving up to the midfield line to help on the draw circle. I pride myself on my ability to garner interceptions, snag ground balls, and box out opposing players, complementary to the skills I have learned in basketball.
One of my priorities this past year has been embodying the "student" portion of the student-athlete title. I have pushed myself both in and out of the classroom, devoting countless hours to homework and studying. This hard work has helped me achieve a 3.8 GPA with a 95.125 average. I am also involved in other school activities and clubs, including JV and varsity basketball and Titans of Mercy.
All in all, it is not only my dream to play for an amazing program, but to also attend a prestigious school with a wonderful academic and campus environment. I have already look forward to this next stage of lacrosse and learning in my life.
