My name is Anna Judy and I attend Noblesville High School in Noblesville, Indiana. I have played lacrosse for two years, but I am doing everything I can to improve and better myself as an athlete. Before I started lacrosse, I played club soccer for Noblesville United Soccer Club and Hoosier FC. I played every position during my soccer career, but in my last couple years of soccer, I was a goalkeeper in the MRL.
I started playing lacrosse in the spring of my eighth grade year. My brother, who also plays lacrosse, told me to pick up a stick and pass with him for a couple minutes. He told me what it was like to play and how different the men's game is from the women's. I decided that I wanted to play after throwing the ball around with him that day. Even though I have played for two years, I continue to work on improving on my skills to become a better lacrosse player and teammate. My friends and family have supported me with getting started and continuing my career with playing with Noblesville and with Circle City.
Outside of lacrosse, I have been a part of Key Club as Freshman Representative and next year as a sophomore, I will be the Editor for Key Club. I volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital during my summer and on my days off during the school year. I am striving to graduate with Academic Honors and taking PLTW or Project Lead The Way classes. I have maintained a high GPA and I have been taking honors classes. Volunteer work, sports and school have allowed me to make friends with people who inspire me and make me more determined to be a better athlete, student and person. I work hard, I am determined or driven to reach my goals and I want to help others succeed. I am a good leader and very coachable. I always ask questions and take criticism to help me get better or how I can help others succeed. I want to help my teammates improve and help them be the best that they can be. I want to help my classmates in the classroom and help my family with any tasks or questions that have for me. I honestly can't wait to see where my lacrosse career takes me!
