Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse for six years now. I have competed and won gold at two Ontario Summer games, I have also competed in the World Tournaments Festival finishing fourth after a devastating loss to England in overtime, and compete competitively not only in Canada but also in the States on Silver Maple lacrosse as well as Evolve Lacrosse. I take pride in my ability to dodge and finish with both hands and specialize in one on one crease wraps and elbow dodges. I have captained the Guelph Regals Lacrosse u19 team for four years, since the team was formed, and helped start and coach a Guelph Regals Lacrosse u15 team. I also competed this summer in the United Lacrosse league fall and summer programs with our team coming in third both times and finishing with an average 26 points in 20 games. I also play ringette for Guelph Predators u19AA team and Western AAA. I am a student in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Bishop MacDonell Catholic High School. I am in SL Chemistry and SL Mathematics as well as HL English, Psychology and Biology. I captain my high school's field hockey and hockey program and am also a volunteer in my school's leadership program and athletic council.
